The top image is the color sketch digital artist Alan Warmka and I created for the client. To do this type of sketch (where we place the color sketch into the proposed space) we need a photograph of the area being considered for a painting/mural. In this case the church considering a mural took their own photo and sent it to me. After receiving the photo I did a small scaled to fit color sketch of the mural and combined it digitally with the photograph.
The bottom image is the finished mural.
